At Little Arbor Speech Therapy, we specialize in laying the foundation for better speech, breathing, swallowing, and sleep! Our mission is to equip you and your child with the tools and strategies needed to speak clearly, reduce oral habits, and live their most happy and healthy life.

Beyond traditional speech therapy, we use specific tools and techniques to address your child's underlying oral structures and motor patterns. We combine our training in orofacial myology, TOTS, and the SOS approach to feeding to create tailored programs that result in meaningful changes.

Meet Kelsey

Kelsey Wendland, MS, CCC SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Kelsey is an experienced speech therapist with advanced training in oral muscle anatomy, posture, and coordination. She has also worked with young children through the Early Intervention system, providing speech therapy services to hundreds of families in her locale.

Kelsey founded Little Arbor Speech Therapy to specialize in treating the root causes of developmental speech challenges through a myofunctional approach. She strives to create a safe space for children to learn and grow at their own pace and collaborates with parents and other professionals along the way to get the best possible therapy outcomes. 

​

Kelsey earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from South Carolina State University. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, attending local sporting events, trying new restaurants, and traveling with family!

Here's how it works...

Step 1

Call Little Arbor Speech Therapy for a free 15-minute phone consultation. We will discuss your concerns, share about our services, and schedule an evaluation session if needed. 

Step 2

Bring your child in for a comprehensive speech and orofacial myofunctional evaluation. We will send intake paperwork which must be filled out 48 hours prior to your first appointment.

Step 3

The therapy journey begins! Together, we will create a treatment plan to help your child reach their goals. We will provide referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary.

In-person therapy sessions will provide your child with structured opportunities to learn and grow in a safe space that is designed to meet their needs. We keep our clinical sessions entertaining, playful, and stimulating!

Online speech therapy for kids
Online

Teletherapy sessions are a convenient and effective therapy option for families across the state of Michigan. We will provide you with the proper tools to participate in personalized therapy sessions from the comfort of home.

Billing & Insurance

Little Arbor Speech Therapy is out of network with medical insurance companies. We accept private pay clients and are willing to provide a Superbill for clients who wish to seek reimbursement for qualifying therapy services.
